Things fell quiet in the local competitive console shooter genre after the Malta eSports Festival 2017, which featured Call of Duty: WW2. Held back in November 2017, MESF17 was the first and last local tournament for the popular title on PS4, and since then, our own squad grew inactive. With summer in full swing, interest has resurfaced and we're ready to get back into gear with a new lineup that will be participating in any local events, but also in online leagues.

We thank our previous squad, the reigning CoD:WW2 champions in Malta: Daniel "DeXx" Mifsud, Luke "Zwa" Scicluna and Matthias "Vision" Magro, and we welcome back to Owen "Owages" Agius - our last minute stand-in during the MESF last year, as well as the person he replaced, and former team captain, Rueben "Randu" Grech.

Joining them will be two mainstays in the local CoD scene, Isaac "LegendJoker" Abela, and Josmar "Boxer" Chetcuti.

The team boasts with experience. Randu himself has participated in two CWL live events in Sheffield and Birmingham for CoD: IW as part of OneHash, placed first in two local events for CoD: BO3 and COD:AW with Unsurpassed Esports, and participated in the Italian CWL National Circuit with Trifecta/True Ambition. Owages was part of the Project Eversio squad that won the Malta eSports Festival 2017 for CoD: WW2, wherein his new teammate, Boxer, also participated and placed 2nd. Last but not least, LegendJoker has already tried his hand at international competition, having attended the CVL Finals Stage 1 in Milan with Paranoid eSports, and placed within the top 8.
